Raspadskaya says coal output soars 93% to 2.8 mln tns in Oct–Dec
MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- The raw coal output of Russian coal producer Raspadskaya soared by 93% on the quarter to 2.764 million tonnes in October–December 2020, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Coal concentrate sales fell by 10% to 1.896 million tonnes.
In 2020, the company’s coal output fell by 28% on the year to 9.263 million tonnes because of uspension of production at the Razrez Raspadsky open pit from May through September, and production challenges at the Raspadskaya mine in July–September. Sales of coal concentrate grew by 6% to 8.155 million tonnes.
